Burnham Lofts

Burnham Lofts is named for its original architect, Daniel Hudson Burnham — the famed Chicago planner behind the Plan of Chicago and the Flatiron Building. Burnham designed the Rockford Trust Building in 1905 in a Chicago School motif, and the downtown icon has anchored the heart of Rockford's Main Street District for more than a century.

When its transformation from an office building finished in early 2017, Burnham Lofts — 62 luxury apartments across 11 floors — became the first major residential development in downtown Rockford in nearly 50 years.
