317 Market Street, Rockford

317 Market Street is the former site of the Rockford Illustrating Company. In 2004, the 317 Market Street Gallery and Lofts celebrated its 20 year anniversary. This was one of the first "loft" projects in the downtown area. Today, the first floor houses a display retail space, an interior office space and one apartment. The second floor consists of three apartments and a gallery space, and the third floor opens up to one large loft apartment. The rooftop garden offers a view of downtown Rockford and the Rock River.
